ABOUT GAAF FOUNDATION

About 20 years ago, tragedy struck our family as a husband, brother, uncle, son, and friend, Late Godson Afekhare Agbadua was diagnosed with Acute Renal failure which later led to his demise on June 30th, 2003.

He stood for the emancipation of humanity through education. To keep the legacy he passionately stood for all throughout his life, the family and in collaboration with those he impacted during his life set up a Foundation in his name called GODSON AFEKHARE AGBADUA FOUNDATION ( GAAF). 

Since being established, GAAF Foundation has been involved in promoting various educational programs across all grades of education.  To immortalise the name of Late Godson Agbadua in his department, his former student through the EDGESTONE FOUNDATION has offered to cash award to the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Geography and Regional Planning of the University of Benin for two consecutive years.  Also,  Edgestone Foundation has offered scholarship awards to cover tuition and living expenses to an indigene studying Medicine and Surgery at Ambrose Ali University (AAU), Ekpoma in his name. 

The GAAF has organised some quiz competitions and school empowerment programs across Edo State and will be involved in rolling out several initiatives after the official launch ceremony.
